Marked 'IDEAL MIDDLEFIELD CONN USA' this antique reloading tool in 38 calibre has clearly been used and felt the heat of the fire. The seating chamber is adjustable (presumably to cope with the 38 Spcl) the visible nickel plating is good, the sprue cutter is present and the casting chamber very good. The handles are wrapped in insulation tape (to give some hand protection. Ref T391  £75

A neat little tool marked 'IDEAL MFG CO NEWHAVEN Ct' for indenting the case behind the bullet to hold it in place without crimping.
An unusual tool in very nice condition.

A nice antique unmarked 44 calibre iron bullet mold with original wood handles. Each handle has one of its two retaining screws missing and one wood has lost its edge.

It's of a type used by many US Police Forces and has a patented feature to prevent it being drawn from the holster by someone behind the wearer.
